Sew Low

This is a great store for hobby sewers and small designers. They sell pre-cut pieces between one and five yards at wholesale prices. You can usually find two or three five-yard pieces if you need that much for a small prod run. I've gotten fine 100 per cent wool weave for under $6 a yard. I recently got some flimsy cotton/poly jersey for $2 a yard.

You have to dig, watch out for imperfections, and you generally need to wash anything, but the selection is huge, and the prices are unbeatable. The employees are a bit cold the first few times you go in, but once they know you they warm right up.

Their button selection isn't so great, but they have tons of buttons and ribbons, and cheap recycled zippers in bins. They also sell recycled size tags. Generally a great store.

Map this on Platial
