Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy
Platial wants you to know that it respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask our users to do the same. Platial has no responsibility for content on other web sites that you may find or access when using Platials products or services. Material available on or through other web sites may be protected by copyright and the intellectual property laws of the United States and/or other countries. The terms of use of those web sites, and not the Platial Terms of Service, govern your use of that material.
Where appropriate, it is Platial's policy to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who Platial determines in its sole discretion, may infringe or repeatedly infringe the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of Platial and/or others.
Notice for Claims of Intellectual Property Violations and Agent for Notice
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or that your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please provide Platial's Copyright Agent with the following information:
- a description of the copyrighted work or, if multiple works are at issue, a representative list of those works, which you claim has been infringed
- a description of where on the Platial Site the allegedly infringing material can be found with enough detail so that we may find it on the Platial Site;
- your contact information, including your mailing address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the display of the material to be removed or disable is not authorized by the copyright or intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, signed under penalties of perjury, that the information in the Notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright or intellectual property owner
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright or other intellectual property owner
